Discovery and family fun filled the crisp, cool air on Saturday, Jan. 6, when the Silicon Beach Parents Group hosted their monthly free play day for Playa Vista families at The Pointe.
Swag bags and coffee were available for the adults, while kids enjoyed face painting with Elsa from “Frozen,” coloring, crafts and athletic games provided by TGA Sports and Euro Soccer USA.
Juliana Farello of Wondertree Kids and Elizabeth Fraley of Kinder Ready Inc., companies that help preschoolers transition to kindergarten, also joined in the fun. Chudney Ross, owner of the bookstore turned mobile events company Books and Cookies, held a pop-up storytime event and gave families a chance to win their own private storytime.
Perhaps the most exciting part of the event — at least for parents — were the free professional stroller and car seat cleanings provided by Tot Squad.
The next Silicon Beach Community PlayDay will happen Saturday, March 3, also at The Pointe.
