Giant soap bubbles filled the sunny skies over Playa Vista on Sunday, August 4, as families gathered at the PVMG annual summer party. Stacy’s Cookie Lounge provided cookies and all the fun frosting colors to decorate them. Children had their faces painted with magical designs while HomeState provided their signature queso and chips to the hungry crowd. Broadway Gymnastics encouraged kids to tumble on their colorful equipment when they weren’t taking a jounce in the giant bounce-house. Though it sure felt like a party, the event also had a serious side: benefiting School on Wheels, a non-profit organization that provides support for homeless children. “Right now,” said PVMG President Erin Valich, “we’re doing a back to school drive to collect goods to put in kids backpacks, but people are also making financial donations. We raised nearly $500 dollars today!”
