Aren Wolf Yoga Instructor

Aren Wolf

A Playa Vista transplant by way of Austin, Aren Wolf experiences yoga through both physical posture and philosophical meaning. Standing up tall and strong for a Warrior II pose, for example, requires a lot of foundation work in preparation to take on a challenge. The advanced Crow Pose offers a lesson the first time you fail: “It’s easy to fall right on your face. How you react tells you where you’re at — if you can laugh at that, it tells you something; if you get mad, it tells you something different.” Wolf, 33, was drawn to yoga as an extension of the body awareness he developed as a college athlete. “It’s like sports,” he says, “but you’re only competing against yourself.”

Wolf helps manage Yoga Works Playa Vista and teaches throughout the community. Follow @YogaWithTheWolf on Instagram or visit alldaynamaste.com.
