I’m excited to share that our second annual Women in Business issue is here, and I’ve enjoyed connecting with some of the inspiring female business owners and entrepreneurs who live and work in Playa Vista. From attorneys and realtors to professional organizers and animal welfare leaders, each has her own unique story and accomplishments, and is serving the community in a different way.
Nicole Longo transitioned from her career as a successful executive in
entertainment marketing and turned her passion for organizing into a career;
now she runs NEAT Method Los Angeles South Bay and offers her clients a
variety of luxury home organizing services to help them reduce stress and
improve their well-being.
Wallis Annenberg PetSpace director, Gabrielle Amster, has been dedicated
to animal welfare throughout her life and career, and enjoys being of service
to pet owners in the community and collaborating with others who care about
the future and well-being of animals.
Realtor Tami Humphrey has been an expert on Playa Vista for over 16 years and loves to educate her clients and help them achieve their real estate goals, in addition to giving back to the community. And attorney Rittu Kumar works with families and individuals through estate planning services, as well as serving businesses with a focus on employment law, business law, and contract disputes and negotiations.
Other highlights from our March/April issue include Winter Morvant, who specializes in handcrafted treats for people and their dogs, bringing Southern flair and hospitality to her baked goods that reflect her Louisiana roots. Dawn Suskin, executive director for the homeowner’s association of Playa Vista Parks and
Landscape, recently reached her 20-year milestone for serving the community.
And Playa Vista’s very own Girl Scout Troop 6715 has dedicated members who are constantly finding new ways to give back to their local community and are working hard to earn the Silver Award, the second highest award in Girl Scouting and the highest award for a Girl Scout Cadette.
Read on to learn more these amazing #girlbosses along with other ambitious women in Playa Vista who are finding success on their own terms and continue to inspire others.
