New ideas come in many packages. On May 24, CTRL Collective’s co-working space in Playa Vista hosted its third annual Innovation Day, an opportunity for members to “come together, get to know each other … showcase their projects, and show off what they’ve been working on,” event planning leader Cassidy McClean said.
The event featured projects as diverse as the wine and jewelry company Boisset Collection / JCB Jewelry, a beauty product and tutorial combo Billion Dollar Brows / Chic Studios, the branding agency NC Design Haus, and wireless phone charger startup Bezalel. The Headshot Truck also stopped by to offer convenient professional headshots. Attendees drank wine or beer and enjoyed a deejay set while perusing booths and networking.
Sponsors and partners included Loyola Marymount University’s MBA program, Lyft, weframe and VitaJuwel. Demitasse Coffee brewed a batch just for CTRL Collective members.
