It was the most wonderful time of the year at the annual Playa Vista Holiday Hangout.
Friends and families gathered at The Resort on Dec. 1 to frolic in a “snow”-laden Christmas tree forest as magicians, puppeteers and jugglers dazzled everyone throughout the night.
The Tinseltone Carolers serenaded the crowd with holiday melodies while merrymakers romped inside a giant snow globe. At Stacy’s Cookie Lounge, kids of all ages decorated hundreds of gingerbread treats before devouring their tasty creations. The evening also included several gourmet food trucks and a live DJ spinning the latest hits.
Playa Vista Director of Experience Sandra Kitashima was “super excited” to see so many people come together for the California-style winter wonderland, “even just to enjoy the holiday lights.”
James Suarez, the founder and CEO of one of the evening’s sponsors, Fineman Suarez Real Estate, said, “This event is about bringing the community closer and building relationships.”
