Real estate team commits to making Playa Vista a great place to live

With parents in the business, Tami Humphrey knew early on the difference a realtor can make in the lives of families and of a community.

“I love helping people,” Humphrey says. “That’s really what made me fall in love with the business.”

Humphrey is a realtor and a homeowner in Playa Vista, having moved to the community when it was brand new. She’s watched it grow and can enthusiastically share with potential buyers the advantages to becoming a part of the community.

“Everyone has fallen in love with the community and how walkable it is, how they maintain it and how beautiful it is,” Humphrey says. “We just feel really lucky to be a part of it and to have been a part of it since the beginning.”

Humphrey is the founder of Team Tami, a team with nine team members assembled to best serve their clients. She takes pride in the fact that all of them know Playa Vista well and are committed to its success.

“We’re huge on giving back to the community,” Humphrey says. “That includes events—whether we rent out a movie theater or do ice cream sundaes and music with Playa Vista.”

They’ve sponsored a Friends of Ballona Wetlands event. They contribute to the elementary school by doing things such as making calendars or sponsoring Halloween events.

They want each of their clients to feel as though they are the only client they have. It’s part of what has contributed to their success.

“We’ve been the number one team in Playa Vista since 2018 and consistently are growing every year,” Humphrey says. “We never lose sight of the one-on-one communication that makes our clients feel like they are our only one. Many of our clients have become really close friends.”
