Anna May Wong and the Golden Age of Asian American Cinema

Katie Gee Salisbury, author of “Not Your China Doll: The Wild and Shimmering Life of Anna May Wong,” and Jeff Yang, who penned “The Golden Screen: How Movies Made Asian America,” will discuss Anna May Wong among other Asian Americans who worked to make Hollywood as popular as it is today. Oscar-nominated filmmaker Arthur Dong will moderate the conversation.
