International Children’s Book Day

Join Sender One for a book exchange and crafts as they celebrate International Children’s Book Day, followed by a reading of “How to Solve a Problem,” a children’s picture book written by professional climber Ashima Shiraishi. The book exchange and reading will take place on the lawn just outside of the Sender One backdoor. Please bring a book to donate or exchange for another. Celebrate Spring Break with a massive beach comedy bash in Playa del Rey featuring major headliners from Netflix and Comedy Central. The 90-minute outdoor standup comedy show will take place at a gorgeous beachfront house in Playa del Rey. Lineup includes Amy Miller (Comedy Central), JC Currais (Conan) and Garrick Bernard (Single Drunk Female). Seating will be limited. You are encouraged to bring your own beach blanket or chair. There will be seating in the patio area of the beach house, but overflow will spill onto the beach. Plan accordingly. Puppy Yoga in the Park

Come practice yoga with man’s best friend while supporting a great cause. Laughing Frog Yoga is the only yoga studio in LA offering puppy yoga classes and their adorable friends can’t wait to meet you. They typically bring five to six puppies and small dogs to their events and many of them are looking for their forever homes. Puppy yoga classes are catered towards all levels and ages. Children are welcome to attend class. All minors below 18 will need a legal guardian to fill out a liability waiver form on their behalf to attend class. The last 30 minutes of class is reserved for hangout/selfie time with the pups. $5 from each ticket will be donated to the Paws for Life Animal Rescue.
