More than 80 area businesses and organizations staged booths, games and giveaways for ChamberFest LAeXpo on June 28 at the CenterPointe Club. The annual celebration hosted by the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce is a chance for members to entertain and interact with community members.
True to form, the expo offered a wealth of information about local companies and service organizations and plenty of games and giveaways to keep guests entertained. The popular “taste of” portion of the event offered delicious eats from Barbianca Local Kitchen, Akasha, Tony P’s Dockside Grill and Benny’s Tacos. A pair of round-trip tickets from Southwest Airlines to anywhere they fly was the grand raffle prize of the day.
“Our businesses are just really supportive of the Westside, and they want their community to know that they’re a great neighbor — that they’re involved, and that they want to do business locally,” said LAX Coastal Chamber President Christina Davis.
