Fogo de Chão opens new location in El Segundo

Internationally-renowned Brazilian restaurant Fogo de Chão recently opened the doors to its third Los Angeles location in El Segundo.
Located just minutes from the Westside, the new location features a stunning marble and gold exterior, soaring windows, modern chandeliers, natural wood paneling and rich furnishing colors that pay homage to the restaurant’s Brazilian heritage. The dining room includes a white Carrara marble Market Table and an open-air churrasco bar where guests can dine and watch gaucho chefs butcher, prepare and grill different cuts of mean over an open flame, displaying the culinary art of churrasco.
Other unique and experiential elements at the location include dry-aged meat lockers for in-house aging of prime cuts such as a 32-ounce long bone Tomahawk Ribeye, along with two covered outdoor patios for al fresco churrasco dining. Guests can enjoy an all-day happy hour while discovering an impressive selection of craft cocktails and South American wines at the Bar Fogo area with lounge seating.
Founded in Southern Brazil in 1979, Fogo elevates the centuries-old cooking technique of churrasco, the art of roasting high-quality cuts of meat over an open flame. The menu includes seasonal salads and soup, fresh vegetables, imported charcuterie and simply-seasoned meats that are butchered, fire-roasted and carved tableside by gaucho chefs.
“Since opening our doors just a couple weeks ago, we have received such an amazing welcome and wonderful support from the community,” says Ashley Retzloff, general manager of Fogo de Chão El Segundo. “We’re thrilled to bring Fogo’s unique dining experience and warm hospitality to our guests.”
