With a new year comes a clean slate that gives us the opportunity to start over again. For many of us, that means setting various goals and making important lifestyle changes such as exercising more, quitting smoking, learning a new skill or hobby, and getting organized.
Speaking of fresh starts, I’m excited to share that Playa Vista Direct has debuted a brand-new look for the new year. My team and I look forward to continuing to provide you with the latest news and content on the dynamic Playa Vista community, its residents, businesses and local events.
If leading a healthier lifestyle is among your resolutions this year, our “Health & Wellness” issue features workout tools and apparel to help you get into your best shape ever – and look good while doing it. We also spotlight Evolution Physical Therapy, a local business that offers a wide range of rehabilitation and wellness services for everyone, no matter their age or condition.
Other highlights from our January/February issue include sisters Brinkley, Brooklyn and Bixby Blue, who are members of Le PeTiT CiRqUe and travel the world to perform awe-inspiring circus acts while doing humanitarian work. I had fun sitting down with style and beauty expert Jennifer Chan to discuss her impressive career, which has taken her from London and Paris to Montreal.
Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and we’ve put together the ultimate shopping guide so that you can spoil your sweetheart with everything from stunning floral arrangements to sweet treats and other unique gifts. Bodewell Living is a line of minimalist candles created by Playa Vista mom Effie Tanji, featuring scents that evoke memories and are universally appealing.
As we head into 2022, let’s make it the best year yet. Sending you all positive vibes for achieving any and all personal goals so you can shine this year and be the best version of yourself.
