Princesses come in all shapes and sizes, so whether you’re partial to Princess Leia, Wonder Woman or real-life princess, Meghan Markle, princesses provide role models to little girls everywhere. But as most woke moms will tell you, the message isn’t about beauty; being a true princess is about embracing ones femininity and inner strength. On Saturday, February 22, tiny princesses gathered to drink tea, eat finger sandwiches and play princess games, led by Miss World America, Emmy Rose Cuvelier, dressed as Elsa from “Frozen.” The event was sponsored by the Gayle Cronin Foundation whose mission is to provide resources to families experiencing pediatric illness. Francesca Pappagallo founded the non-profit to honor her mother Gayle after she died unexpectedly the same week Pappagallo gave birth to her own daughter. Pappagallo said, “What’s happening today has been a dream of mine for five years.”
