“Rent, A Rock Opera”

The Kentwood Players present Jonathan Larson’s Pulitzer- and Tony Award-winning rock opera “Rent.” The show will be directed and choreographed by Marcus S. Daniel, musically directed by Gabrielle Maldonado, and produced by Alison Boole and Elizabeth Bouton Summerer. Loosely based on Puccini’s “La Boheme,” this rock opera is set in New York and follows the story of Roger Davis, a musician who recently learned he is HIV positive.
