Los Angeles Wine and Food Festival

Los Angeles Wine and Food Festival is coming to the Santa Monica Pier. The festival brings in 90 participating chefs, 15 of whom are headliners, and will contribute their creative culinary skills to the event.

Marina Del Rey Dragon Boat Festival

Go to Burton Chace Park for the third annual Marina del Rey Dragon Boat Festival. The festival will feature dragon boat races, live music entertainment and a food truck fare.

LA Art Space Art and Music Festival

MARCH 2

Santa Monica is hosting its first LA Art Space Art and Music Festival. This will take place in the heart of Downtown Santa Monica at Third Street Promenade. There will be a mix of street performers, cafes and shops, allowing attendees to enjoy live music, installations and free activities for kids.

Local Author Book Signing with Eric Weintraub

MARCH 2

Stop by Village Wells Books and Coffee on Saturday, March 2, to meet local author Eric Weintraub. Weintraub will sign copies of his debut novel “South of Sepharad,” a historical fiction novel based on the 1492 expulsion of the Jews from Spain. Attendees can meet Weintraub, discuss literature and writing as well as receive giveaway items.

Author Conversation with Jane Wolf Frances and Kathy Eldon

Creative Communal Artisan Market

Repair Cafe at Marine Park

Repair Cafe at Marine Park gives everyone, not just Santa Monica residents, a chance to bring items such as small appliances, electronics, jewelry, clothing and guitars for stringing. Community members should bring their own guitar strings. Volunteers will handle small repairs. Be prepared to wait for volunteer availability and repairs.

Stanley Clarke N•4EVER

MARCH 30

Check out BroadStage’s new Artist in Residence Stanley Clarke and his new band 4EVER. Attendees can expect a night of raucous jazz harmony, rock, funk, R&B, hip-hop and fusion. 4EVER is Jeremiah Collier on drums, Beka Gochiashvili on piano and keyboards, Colin Cook on guitar, Emilio Modeste on saxophone, and Clarke on acoustic and electric bass.

“Cinderella”
