Leslie Mendelson
JULY 21
Leslie Mendelson, a singer and acoustic guitarist, is a Grammy Award-nominated artist and is releasing her fourth studio album, “After the Party.” She collaborated with producers Peter Asher, Tyler Chester and Steve McEwan. McEwan is her co-songwriter and has won three Grammy Awards. She worked with guitarists Waddy Wachtel and John Jorgenson, bassists Leland Sklar and Derrick Anderson and drummers Jim Keltner and Abe Rounds.

Dog-Friendly Comedy Show

Guests are invited to laugh with comedians who are raising funds at the PetSpace. Dogs are welcome, too. Comedians in attendance are Taylor Williamson, Leah Knauer, Hugo Galaxy, Angie Stroud and Antjuan Tobias. The show is hosted by Caitlin Benson and DJ Anna Krylova. A portion of ticket sales will go toward the PetSpace Extraordinary Care Fund, which assists injured animals in the shelter system and provides them with a better chance at adoption.

“Look What Fell Out de Mango Tree”

In Debra Ehrhardt’s autobiographical piece, she shows audiences what it was like for her to forgive and move forward with relationships. The play is directed by Paul Williams, a hall-of-fame songwriter and Grammy Award winner, and stars Ehrhardt and Christopher Grossett.

Emo Night Brooklyn is composed of two best friends, Ethan and Alex. Since their band’s inception, performers from the emo and punk-rock scene have served as guest DJs, including Ryan Key from Yellowcard, William Beckett from The Academy Is… and Jordan Pundik from New Found Glory. ENB wants guests to scream, dance and have a great time.
