“Bark: Kids Read to a Dog”
JULY 19
A Bark Reading Therapy Dogs volunteer and a trained and certified therapy dog will come to the library and let children in grades 1 to 5, who are accompanied by an adult, read to the furry companion. The library staff members want to instill confidence in reading aloud by providing an encouraging environment with a good listener.

“Passion!” Flamenco & Tango
JULY 20
The Electric Lodge presents Corina Del Sol, the artistic director of Del Sol Productions and a flamenco dancer. Alongside her are the Spanish special guest artists Paco Arroyo, a master guitarist, and Yolanda Arroyo, known for her flamenco prowess. Additional performers include tango artists Jordi Caballero and Ekaterina Fedosova, and an international cast of dancers.

“The Great Divide: A Tribute to Phish”

Sony Pictures Studios Tour

Take a tour of this famous studio where classic movies like “The Wizard of Oz,” “Men in Black” and “Spider-Man” were filmed. Clejan

Clejan is a Los Angeles-based musician known for his genre-bending sensibilities and energetic performances. He combines classical violin with trap and rap, amassing a fanbase of over 2.6 million on various social media channels and gaining more than 15 million streams. Utilizing technical skill and emotional songwriting, Clejan wants to light up the crowd with his string work.

Cash & Skye

Cash & Skye, a duo comprised of musicians Henri Cash and Sophia Skye, have spent almost 7 years collaborating and creating music together. Skye was surrounded by music in her youth due to her father, Pierre de Reeder, who was a bassist for the indie-rock group Rilo Kiley. Skye would also look to country singers Patsy Cline and Linda Ronstadt for inspiration, singing many of their songs. Cash worked alongside vocalist Arrow de Wilde and formed the Los Angeles-based rock band Starcrawler, performing with powerhouse acts like Foo Fighters, Jack White, Beck and The Distillers. Having first met Skye in high school, he also had a passion for country music and played guest guitar on Dolly Parton’s version of Tom Petty’s “Southern Accents. Together as a duo, Cash & Skye take their musical experience and love of country to new heights.

“Aleichem Sholom!”

“Aleichem Sholom!” follows the life of the beloved Yiddish storyteller and his mespoche, spinning tales of his loves and losses, his fame and his failures, his travels, his travails and the tremendous joy and optimism that kept him going against all odds. “Aleichem Sholom!” was written by Chris DeCarlo and Evelyn Rudie, an internationally acclaimed playwright team, who also collaborated with musician Ben Weisman, who wrote lyrics for 57 songs from famous artists like Elvis Presley, Jackie Gleason, The Beatles and Bruce Springsteen.

The No Chasers

The No Chasers is a SoCal cover band that pulls from the best of the ’50s to the ’00s. Expect to hear classics from famous performers like The Beatles, Weezer, Elvis Presley, Stevie Wonder and Britney Spears. Since 2018, the group has wanted to create an unforgettable experience for audiences. This show is only for adults 21 and over.

Tracy Bonham

Tracy Bonham, a classically trained violinist, pianist and alternative singer, first gained popularity in 1996 with her Grammy-nominated album, “The Burdens of Being Upright.” Bonham is a multi-instrumentalist whose song catalogue blends various styles. Joining her for this performance are Rene Hart (upright bass) and Alvester Garnett (drums), playing some new material from Bonham. “Playing with incredible jazz musicians like Rene and Alvester has opened my mind and is now giving me the support I have always needed to spread my wings and fly,” Bonham said.

“Look What Fell Out De Mango Tree”

Co-performed by Debra Ehrhardt, this autobiographical piece shows audiences what it was like for her to forgive and move forward with relationships. The play is directed by Paul Williams, a Hall of Fame songwriter and Grammy Award winner, and stars Ehrhardt and Christopher Grossett.

“The Front Page”

Written by Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur and directed by Trace Oakley, “The Front Page” is an adaptation of the film “His Girl Friday.” This story, presented by the Culver City Public Theatre, follows reporter Hildy Johnson, who has to manage her career at the Chicago Examiner in the face of her ex-husband and editor Walter Burns. Further hijinks follow when a convicted murderer is spotted in their press room.
