The morning after a rare Los Angeles rainstorm showered the local Muttropolis, the skies above Playa Vista’s Oberrieder Dog Park looked doggone terrier-ific.

This pooch pawty, sponsored by Playa Vista’s Brookfield Residential, generously provided dog parents free bagels, shmears, coffee and juice from Noah’s Bagels to make for a pawsitively fun Saturday morning.

Eric Wiese, owner of Happy Puppy Dog Training, was giving out dog treats along with the folks from Bruno’s Dog and Cat Boutique (both pugnacious businesses have locations in nearby Venice Beach), but more than one hungry hound enjoyed some New York-style fi-dough.

Stella Cimmarrusti attended the canine cabal with her chocolate Labrador, Sawyer. When we caught Cimmarrusti sharing her sesame bagel with her barking bestie, we couldn’t help but wonder if Sawyer is actually her “doggelganger.”
