Lily is a sporty girl who can fetch, sit, stay and come when called – the perfect outgoing companion for an active home, all while on three legs! Lily can spend hours playing fetch in the yard and cannot get enough of spending time with her favorite people. A true best friend, Lily is waiting to please her new people and would love a guardian who is ready to continue the training that has made Lily such an incredible young girl!

Sammy is quite the sight! His looks may seem big and bold, especially with his tongue constantly out, but he’s actually nervous by the busy world around him. Sammy is in search of a patient pet parent who will give him gentle guidance and let him truly become his fully charming self.

Preparing Your Pup to Be a Good Citizen

For dog parents looking for a way to build better communication with their pup, the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen program is a great way to deepen your bond. CGC is a 10-skill training program that’s open to all dogs and focuses on testing the basics of good manners and obedience while at home and in the community. Interested participants can visit akc.org for more information and training resources. Once you and your pup have mastered the 10 skills in the program, you can search for a local AKC CGC test evaluation to certify your sidekick as an official Canine Good Citizen!
